YouMeTalksCam Privacy Policy
YouMeTalksCam is a random video chat site where two strangers meet face to face, talk for as long as they like and move on with a tap. Running that well means handling some information about you, your browser and the things you send. We would rather tell you plainly than bury it in legal fog, so this policy walks through each category in turn: what it is, why we keep it, which kinds of outside providers touch it and the levers you hold over it. Anything left unanswered can go to [email protected], and you will get a reply from our team.

YouMeTalksCam is open solely to users who have turned 18. Anyone younger is not allowed to use the site, and we do not set out to gather information about minors.
Should we learn that an account or guest session belongs to someone under that age, we shut it down and erase what we are able to. Parents or other users who suspect a minor is present can use the report option on that profile or write to us directly, and we will act on it quickly.
Some information arrives without you typing anything. As soon as a page loads, your browser tells us its type and version, the operating system it runs on, the screen size and the preferred language. Your connection also carries an IP address, and that address gives a rough idea of which country you are connecting from. We do not try to pin down your street or city.
Opening the site also creates a guest session for you automatically, which carries a guest ID. That ID is what lets us pair your browser with another person, keep your settings in place and tell your session apart from millions of others. Small pieces of browser storage and cookies hold this ID between visits. Wiping them simply means the next visit begins with a brand new guest.
Video and voice chat need your camera and microphone, and your browser will ask for permission before either one switches on. Once a call begins, the live picture and sound travel to the person on the other end so you can actually talk. When the call ends or you press Next, that stream stops flowing to them.
If you prefer not to appear on camera, switch to voice or text matching instead. Watching someone stream in the Live tab does not use your camera at all, because viewers on YouMeTalksCam cannot broadcast themselves.
Coins and the optional VIP plan are bought inside the app. Card details are entered on pages run by a third-party payment processor, so full card numbers are never seen or held by us. The processor then reports back that the payment succeeded, along with the amount, the time and enough reference data to match it to your session or account.
We then keep a ledger of coins added and coins spent, for example on gifts in the Live tab. That ledger lets us show you an accurate balance and answer questions if a charge looks wrong.
We rely on a small group of outside providers for jobs we do not run in house: hosting and delivering the site, processing payments and measuring traffic through analytics tools. They receive only the information needed for their task and may use it only to perform that work for us.
Beyond that, information may be disclosed if a law or a valid legal order requires it, or where sharing it could stop someone from being seriously hurt. If the business ever changes hands, user information would move along with the service and remain covered by the promises in this policy. Selling user data to marketers or list brokers is not part of how we make money.
We hold information only for as long as the purpose behind it lasts. Guest sessions nobody returns to are cleared out after a while. Member data sticks around for as long as the account remains open. Some records, such as payment history, reports and notes about serious rule breaks, may be kept longer when accounting or legal duties call for it, or when they help keep a banned person from coming back under a new name.
When the service changes or the law shifts, we revise this page and update the date shown at the top. Significant revisions will also be announced inside the app. Continuing to use YouMeTalksCam after a revision means the new version applies to you.
